Hi, my name is Shellee, and I am one of the smiling faces you will find at Advanced Care Dentistry. I am a certified Dental Assistant and have enjoyed working with Dr. Marxen since 1992. I think it is exciting how much dentistry has changed over the last 17 years and how much this new technology has helped to create a better experience for our patients. It is always my goal to ensure that every patient's visit is made as comfortable as possible. When I am not working I enjoy spending my time with my husband and our two kids. I look forward to meeting you the next time you are in our office!

Hi, my name is Carol and I have worked with Dr. Marxen and Dr. Yang since 2007. I graduated from Eaton Technical in 1997 as a Dental Assistant. I love the positive atmosphere in our office and am excited to be part of such an amazing team. I appreciate and enjoy all the advancements and technology that we are able to offer our patients. One of my favorite parts of my job is watching the changing and happy smiles. When not working, I love spending time with my family and my two dogs. We love sports and play them all year long.

Hi, my name is Debbie and I have been a part of the Advanced Care Dentistry team since 2005. I am the Hygiene Assistant. My duties include assisting the Hygiene team, Zoom! in-office whitening, managing sterilization, and assisting with restorative treatment. My favorite part of my job is that I am always moving and helping in all aspects of dentistry. The best part about working here is watching people transform and become confident and proud of their new smiles. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, riding ATVs and taking pictures.

Hello, my name is Annisa. I began my career in dental hygiene in 2000, and have been with Dr. Marxen and Advanced Care Dentistry since 2004. I find dentistry to be an amazing field! Not only am I able to participate in helping others achieve overall better health, but I am also able to get to know and laugh with our patients and have a great time while working. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending all my time with my husband and our two boys.

Hi, my name is Shirley. I am a Dental Hygienist, and have been a part of Dr. Marxen's team since July 2003. I was born and grew up in Latvia and moved to the Seattle area in 1993. I have been a health care professional for over 20 years – 8 years in the nursing field and the past 12 years in dentistry. Working with Dr. Marxen introduced me to another level of dentistry available to patients. The ability to offer IV sedation opened up a great opportunity to many patients, who wanted to have healthy and beautiful teeth, but were avoiding dentists due to the fear from previous experiences. The comfort of my patients is of the utmost importance to me. I love being a team member at our clinic because we are constantly taking continuing education courses and using the newest materials and equipment to provide the best care to our patients.
